Faculty of General Medicine is the oldest and the biggest faculty of the University. Its graduates are qualified as doctors of medicine and obtain diplomas of the specialty “General Medicine”.
Faculty of Health and Hygiene trains specialists in the domain of hygiene, epidemiology and preventive health care to work in state and municipal authorities of the public health system, but also as epidemiologists and doctors in microbiological and clinical laboratories to work in hospitals and polyclinics.
Faculty of Dentistry carries out training of dentists based on combination of classical traditions and modern educational and medical technologies.
Faculty of Pharmacy carries out training of pharmacists to work in the network of pharmacies and in pharmaceutical institutions. Graduates of the faculty can exercise activity on development, trials, registration of medicaments, their production and control of the quality.
Faculty of Clinical Psychology trains specialists in one of the most needed specialties – “Clinical Psychology”. During studies students acquire skills of working with polygraph (“lie detector”). After graduating from the university they can practice psychological consulting, psychotherapy, psychodiagnosis, they can work in medical and preventive institutions of common, drug abuse and psychiatric profile, in personnel services of companies and establishments, and also teach psychology in educational institutions.
