Uzbekistan delegation visits RSMU

Earlier this June a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Moscow headed by Consul-General Valizhon Niyazkhodzhayev, First Secretary Damir Erkinovich Mamatkulov and Ambassador Assistant Arsen Ibrahim visited RSMU.  Rector Roman E. Kalinin welcomed the guests and elaborated on the issues of educational and scientific training.

Vice-Rector for Extra-Curricular Activity and International Issues Mariah V. Gordova and Advisor on International Issues Alexander Dobychin emphasized RSMU’s cooperation with Uzbek academic and research institutions managed in the framework of a variety of agreements. Significantly, there are shining examples of fruitful collaboration with Samarkand State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan), Bukhara State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan) and Tashkent Medical Academy (Uzbekistan).

During the meeting special attention was given to the discussion of the admission campaign in 2021, as well as future prospects for cooperation.

It should be mentioned that at the moment 44 students and 11 residents from Uzbekistan study at University.
