FOIS Students Help Russian Schools With Linguistic Research

Do you know that names of birds and rivers of Ryazan region go back to Sanscrit?

As a part of their linguistic research 9th grade pupils of Ryazan school №47 and their advisors visited RSMU to meet Hindi native speakers familiar with Sanscrit writing.

FOIS students were extremely helpful – they translated bird and river names so the young researches could find common parts in those names.

At the end of the meeting the guests were consulted on RSMU enrollment requirements by administration members.
