Samarkand State Medical University Delegation Visits RSMU

Currently academic mobility plays the most crucial role in facilitating gaining and sharing new experience.

Within the framework of the cooperation agreement with Samarkand State Medical University, RSMU welcomed an Uzbek delegation. The delegates met Rector Roman E. Kalinin, Vice-Rector for Extra-Curricular Activity and International Issues Mariah V. Gordova and University staff.

In his welcoming speech Roman E. Kalinin thanked the guests for their enthusiasm and willingness to strengthen the cooperation between the universities. He elaborated on the main directions of the University’s activities, noting the importance of educating foreign citizens.

The parties mapped out the main areas of further interaction and expressed mutual interest in the development of even more fruitful cooperation.

It should be mentioned that SSMU professors conducted training sessions as a part of an academic mobility program and had an opportunity to take a refresher course.  Our international guests were warmly welcomed at the Department of Dermatovenereology, the Department of Microbiology, the Department of General Hygiene, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as the Department of Urology With the Course of Surgical Diseases, having gained invaluable experience.

Traditionally, the delegation visited RSMU Simulation Training Center, cultural and historical attractions of the city.

Thus, we were thrilled to welcome the delegation at RSMU and can’t wait to greet another one in the nearest future!
