CARIBBEAN EMBASSIES DELEGATION VISITS RSMU

The meeting was organized by the National Committee for the Promotion of Economic Cooperation with Latin American Countries (NC ECLA) on the initiative of Ryazan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Government of Ryazan Region. 

The guests were welcomed by Rector Roman Kalinin, who emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in terms of both training foreign students from the countries represented and establishing academic ties. Representatives of Argentina, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Republic of Cuba, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Mexico accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Russian Diplomat Association visited RSMU Accreditation and Simulation Center and inspected some of the University’s educational and sports sites. They also met Calle Cruz Maria Paulina, a student from Ecuador, who told them about her experience of studying abroad. 

It should be mentioned that three Ecuadorians and two Guyanais are currently studying at Ryazan State Medical University, as well as residents of Brazil, Mexico, Peru, and Chile have participated in academic mobility programs under the cooperation agreement between the University and IFMSA.
