SPORT WINTER WEEKEND

The picturesque winter landscape of the RyazSMU "Zdorovye" recreation base came alive with energy and laughter during the "RyazSMU Ski Racing" on past Saturday. Defying the frosty temperatures, a vibrant mix of Russian and international students, university teachers, and administrative staff gathered for a day dedicated to sports, fun, and cultural exchange.

The event contained athletic practice with festive activities. While the main focus was on skiing and friendly competitions on the snow-covered trails, the program offered much more. Participants enjoyed traditional Russian winter games, hot drinks and national dishes, and captured the joyful atmosphere in countless memorable photos.

A special highlight of this year's gathering was the significant number of international students for whom this was a brand-new experience. For many, it was their very first time putting on skis. With encouragement and support from Russian students and teachers, all the beginners successfully met the challenge, discovering the joys of this classic winter sport.

"RyazSMU Ski Racing" is a perfect example of how student life harmoniously combines study, sports, and friendship, strengthening the bonds within the RyazSMU community.
