Within 3 days upon coming to Russia a foreign student should report to the Visa Department to get registered. Student should have the following documents with him/her:
- the passport
- 1 copy of all filled passport pages
- the migration card
- a state fee receipt for registration processing (900 rubles) – to be paid through the university payment office
- a copy of the contract for educational services
- the contract for leasing of student hostel accommodation
- 1 photo
- registration application signed by the Dean, the International Department (medical insurance and documents checking)
40 days before the visa expiry date foreign students should come to the Visa Department to have their visas extended. The list of documents for visa extension includes:
- the passport
- 2 copies of all filled passport pages
- the migration card
- green card + 3 medical certificates + police certificate about medical analyses submission
- a state fee receipt for visa processing (1 920 rubles) – to be paid through the bank/bank app
- a state fee receipt for registration processing (900 rubles) – to be paid through the university payment office
- a copy of the contract for educational services
- the contract for leasing of student hostel accommodation
- 1 photo
- a visa application signed by the Dean, the International Department (medical insurance and documents checking)
